By 2030: Depression will be the most common debilitating illness in the UK. Solo living and health inequality amongst men, particularly in central London, will dramatically increase. On a site leading into Waterloo station the more affluent of this demographic group are targeted. Developers infill brownfield sites with small technology-rich apartments, while health companies and the Church fight it out to attract and seduce. The health companies attempt to keep men well enough to work, whilst the Church spreads gloom and fear, knowing that at a low point men will be most susceptible to spiritual salvation.
