I am the passive programmer of a machine that has no sense of temperance or culture. Craft and corporation, the precious and the throwaway, are fused by the technologies that indiscriminately cut through an infinite web of information at light speed. What was once time- consuming and sacred, is now transformed in the wake of our new, panoramic experiences of the world. It is a Roger Rabbit effect, where crude samples of Mickey Mouse’s gloves and Porky Pig’s bow create the super-cartoon, the characterisation of creation, and in turn the characterisation of ourselves.
