Garden Glow

Suspended from branches, draped over a bush, or wrapped around the shed door handle, this lamp offers an easy alternative to the stereotypical garden-light-on-a-stick format. With six solar cells and accompanying LEDs at one end, and rechargeable batteries at the other, the cable separating them becomes a loop with which to hang the lamp. Using new transparent solar technology, the surface area of the six solar panels creates the correct voltage and current for the six LEDs. Each panel is, in effect, powering and illuminating itself, making the solar panel both an essential power source and a decorative element.
