My work is informed by the intertwining of my professional experience both as an architect and as a graphic designer.
I have begun to question and challenge behavioural conventions and attitudes to the built environment, which are an inevitable symptom of life lived at the accelerated daily rhythms typical of a city such as London. I design interventions in public spaces that invite people to interact with their environment in ways they wouldn’t do otherwise. Specifically, I am interested in the possibility of deceleration and the resultant opportunity for social interaction and a deeper engagement in reflective and contemplative activity.
