  • The programme welcomes applicants for research degrees, either MPhil or PhD by project and by thesis.

We particularly seek proposals concerning the three central issues addressed by the programme: Architectural fabrication; digital and/or ecological urbanism, and typological innovation.

Potential applicants are encouraged to submit draft proposals for consideration including:

    • why the proposed research should be carried out in this School
    • what its contribution to the field of architecture will be
    • how it relates to, and builds upon, prior work in the proposed field of study
    • possible design methodologies.

Candidates' applications should include a portfolio of academic or theoretical work.
