My practice explores transformational processes and situations. 7 Minutes Apart is a chapter from the larger film,The Family and
The Phoenix, and hereby I unravel ideas of ancestry to build a portrait through which I explore the nature of intangibility that connects one entity to another, as well as to themselves. I consider these connections to be a type of genetic and spiritual tapestry, thus creating a filmic fabric; highly tactile and sensitive to exposure — much like the mysterious fabric that weaves our lives together. Each film is an attempt to tread lightly at the edge of perception.
