Specialism: Printed Textiles


My inspiration came from the geometric skeletons of the ship’s exterior in every stage of development and the alterations of the appearance.


I reinterpret these 3D structures into 2D textile surfaces, using interesting materials like bonding nylon organza to latex, burnt metal and moulded / sculpted leather. Even if the original materials are not wearable or strange-looking, it is possible to produce an object that is aesthetically appealing by combining unfamiliar materials harmoniously with familiar fabrics and dynamic patterns.


Through this project, I would like to offer new possibilities of interesting textures through mix-matching materials and patterns.
