My work examines the agency of ‘nonhumans’: the manner by which all organic and inorganic matter including weathers, minerals, microorganisms and inanimate objects form a distributive agency over and alongside human intentionality. The Western dualism of ‘Nature’ and ‘Culture’ has divided human and nonhuman politics, and led to a reductive understanding of architecture, the urban realm and even the human body as solely human constructs.

Employing a broad range of mediums including hand-drawing, models, digital simulations and interactive installations, I hope to re-present the complex human–nonhuman networks which so intimately affect us and thus discover a more accurate understanding of our socio-ecological relations.
