Rapidform brings together the College’s digital design, prototyping and manufacturing technologies and makes them available to small and medium-sized enterprises in the Greater London area. Rapidform offers individual designers and design manufacturing companies in different disciplines access to a range of facilities through a bureau service.

Product designers, metalwork and jewellery and textile designers, as well as architectural model-makers and engineers have all accessed the facilities. Rapidform is expanding its facilities and services and welcomes proposals for consultation with our subject specialists or technical advisers. We also welcome collaborations in design research projects.

The department has Sensable Haptic Devices and Z Corp.™ hand-held laser scanning with scan registering and clean-up software. See Available Technologies below for information on other technologies that we offer.
