Gaetano Drago is a spatial storyteller whose work bridges architecture, writing, cinematography, and performance.

He earned his degree in Architecture from the Architectural Association and has worked with leading practices including MVRDV, 7478 Architects, and Studio Giardina. Currently, Gaetano leads a range of refurbishment and interior projects in Sicily.

He teaches across Architecture BA (Hons), MArch, and Interior Design courses at the Royal College of Art, Norwich University of the Arts, and Leeds Beckett University. His research explores the socio-urban regeneration of islands and marginal territories through folklore, queer theory, and indigenous methodologies. His work has been published in Architecture and Culture Journal, AAE Charrette, Data Aided Design, and Prospettica.

Beyond architecture, Gaetano extends his creative practice into acting, screenwriting, and producing. His latest film, Archipelagic Queerness, continues his exploration of spatial identity and fragmentation. Having undertaken courses at the Young Actors Theatre Islington and the National Youth Theatre, his experience in film and performance deeply informs his approach to design and storytelling.
