Gaetano is an architect interested in the socio-urban condition and the regeneration of islands and disadvantaged territories through the use of folklore and indigenous practices.

After earning his BA Hons and MArch from the Architectural Association, Gaetano worked in studios such as MVRDV and 7478 Architects in the Netherlands, and Studio Giardina in Italy.

Gaetano teaches in the Master of Architecture programme at Leeds Beckett University and Norwich University of the Arts. He is a writer for Data Aided Design and has published with Prospettica in the issue "L'Arca" and for Body Matters (21st International Conference for the Architectural Humanities Research Association). He is currently engaged in various refurbishment and interiors projects in Sicily.

Gaetano's practice embraces the fluidity of creativity, extending into professional acting, screenwriting, and producing. This involvement in various commercial and stage productions nurtures the connection between architecture, set design, cinematography, and the performing arts.
