Heather is the Chief Operating Officer at the Royal College of Art and has worked in the higher education sector for over 20 years.
As Chief Operating Officer, Heather's remit includes Technology and Digital Transformation, Portfolio Management and Business Operations, Estates, People and Culture, Risk, Resilience and Safety, Environmental Sustainability and College Governance.
Heather is responsible for the leadership, development and effective delivery of professional services across the College.
Heather’s career across a number of HR senior leadership roles focused on driving positive change, organisational development and creating inclusive communities.
Prior to joining the College in 2021, she was the Director of Operations at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama, University of London, and is currently a trustee for the SAUL pension scheme.
