Jamie is a senior mobility, industrial and creative designer, with OEM automotive and Silicon Valley product development experience.
Arriving at the Intelligent Mobility Design Centre in 2024 as a Senior Industry Project Designer for the Hyundai Kia Creative Sustainability project, his role explores how the automotive industry can be transformed by sustainable design through concepts such as The Circular Economy, Pace Layering and Design for Disassembly.

After studying Vehicle Design at the RCA in 2007, Jamie began his career as a concept designer at the Volkswagen AG Innovation Research Centre in Wolfsburg, Germany, where he was tasked with incorporating emerging technologies and lifestyle scenarios into future vehicles, for the group's brands including Audi.
As an industrial design consultant for GHH Innovations, a company with offices in Silicon Valley, Ukraine, and China, Jamie designed a range of products, including Assisted Reality headsets for RealWear and award-winning microplastic washing machine filters for CleanR. Jamie has also designed best-selling bicycle mudguards for his family’s bicycle accessories manufacturing business Crud Products, in the UK.
Whilst working as a Creative consultant at a boutique branding agency in London, Jamie created impactful content for major brands such as Freeview, Tesco, ITV, J&J, EDF and 3M.
