Research interests
Her research engages with epistemological questions around anthropocentrism and the body in curatorial practices, drawing from feminist and anticolonial theory. She considers a relationship between the sensorial, rational and the physical in response to the technocratic determinism of “smart” objects and cities, as it manifests in the cultural sector. Kelly has several years of work experience in architectural visualisation, and her immersive audio-visual projections for dome-shaped environments and planetariums have been exhibited and awarded internationally.
