Milena is an immigrant, an artist, mother and a fraternal twin. She is interested in spaces of multiplicity where art can happen.
Milena has taught in Europe and North America. Milena was one of three artists who represented the Serbian Pavilion in the The 57th Venice Biennale 2017. She also took part in the British Art Show 7: In the Days of the Comet.
Milena exhibits internationally in numerous museums, art institutions and galleries. Her work has also been purchased by public collections such as The David and Indrė Roberts Collection, the Museum of Contemporary Art, Los Angeles (MOCA) and the Arts Council Collection. She is represented by Galerie Martin Janda in Vienna, Austria.
