Patrick is an architect with 20 years’ experience as a practitioner and maker. Throughout his work, he has maintained a particular commitment to thoughtful approaches around reuse.

Patrick's research centres on the spaces of urban industry, reuse and circularity, which he is pursuing through a research Master's at the Bartlett, UCL. He combines this with teaching and working as a technician, testing new methods for using reclaimed timber. This sits within a wider research interest around the circular reuse of materials.

Patrick was formerly an associate at Haworth Tompkins Architects, where he contributed to and led on a number of high-profile projects. These included the Stirling Prize-winning Everyman Theatre in Liverpool, and a major reuse project for Kingston School of Art, which involved the design of traditional craft and digital production facilities. He studied Interior Architecture in Cardiff before completing postgraduate architecture studies at London Metropolitan University's School of Art, Architecture and Design.
