Join MFA Arts and Humanities students for a free, day-long gathering at the Oare Gunpowder Works Country Park in Faversham, Kent.

The park, a former gunpowder manufacturer, now a beloved community green space, will host activations and activities responding to its history and natural environment. The day will feature art works and workshops by MFA Arts & Humanities students and local Kent artists. Come to enjoy a sound work in an old mill, a spirit house in a ruin, a workshop about natural pigments, and more. There will be activities appropriate for all ages and experience levels. Please follow us on instagram for updates and specific timings @forcesofnature25. This event is organised by MFA students from the Schoolof Arts and Humanities and supported by Cement Fields, a Kent based arts organisation.

Coming from London? High speed trains from St. Pancras to Faversham every 30 minutes! Faversham is a market town with a vibrant town centre. Come for the event and then explore Faversham’s weekly veg market (the largest in Kent!), art galleries, and bakeries.
