Discover the hidden talents and creative practices of the technical and non-academic staff at the Royal College of Art, as HIDDEN returns from the 12–17 May 2023 at RCA Battersea and online at hidden2023.co.uk.
Held within the Hangar space in the Studio Building at the Battersea campus, HIDDEN 2023 is a public exhibition that celebrates and uncovers the talents, creativity and expertise held by RCA technical and non-academic staff members, regardless of their day-to-day role within the College.
From a bespoke 1930s hot rod car to a fully immersive A/V installation, HIDDEN 2023 reveals the many talents of the RCA staff, including sculpture, photography, animation, book design, theatrical backdrops, textiles, fashion, jewellery, drawing, painting, print, ceramics, and glass. It's a unique opportunity to see the often unseen skills and technical knowledge of the people who support the students at the RCA.
HIDDEN is an annual exhibition that's been successfully showcasing the hidden talent and expertise of the RCA's non-academic community for over 15 years. This year's exhibition promises a wealth of creative work from staff members who are a hidden talent among the college.
