Join our School of Architecture for a thought-provoking lecture on how design can create happier, healthier spaces through sustainability, innovation, and the principle of More with Less.

Led by Catrina Stewart and Hugh McEwen from practice Office S&M Architects, this lecture will explore how thoughtful material choices can reduce carbon impact without compromising functionality. Challenging misconceptions around eco-conscious design, the studio champions thoughtful material choices that reduce both embodied and operational carbon—without compromising function or creativity. Through an explorative approach that centers around playful testing and innovation, Office S&M is founded on a belief that good design should deliver social value while providing joy and supporting wellbeing across all scales of design.

Inside/Out is a student-led curation of in-person lectures featuring esteemed leaders of the design industry. The series dissects and critically discusses the technologies that are reshaping the field today and in the future.

Tickets work on a first come first serve basis on a limited availability.
