You’re invited to meet Prof. James Coupe (Head of Photography MA) in New York for an in-person conversation about studying at the RCA.
What to expect
Thursday 27 February 2025 5.30-8.30pm
The first part of this event will include a short background presentation about the Royal College of Art. The second part of the event will involve an open Q&A and networking session to meet fellow applicants and offer holders in your area, answer any questions you might have about studying at the RCA and share advice on your application or best preparing yourself for study.

About the host
Prof. James Coupe (Head of Photography MA) - James is an artist whose work focuses on themes of visibility, labour and surveillance capitalism, explored through installation, video, sculpture, public art and Internet-based projects.
Recent venues include the International Center of Photography, Kunstraum Kreuzberg Berlin, FACT Liverpool, Ars Electronica, Parsons/The New School, Henry Art Gallery, ZKM, and the Toronto International Film Festival. His work has received awards from, amongst others, Creative Capital, Ars Electronica, HeK Basel and the Surveillance Studies Network.
