Launching today and live online for a whole year, HIDDEN is an annual exhibition celebrating the creative work of the technical and non academic staff at the Royal College of Art.
Our technical and non-academic staff members have a wealth of knowledge and skill and are a hidden talent among the college. HIDDEN is an opportunity to showcase some of their most innovative creative work, which in previous years, has included jewellery and furniture design, painting and sculptures, handmade bespoke cars and interactive virtual reality work.
In previous years HIDDEN has showcased well-known designers work from amongst our staff and this year is no exception. Artworks from contemporary jewellery designer Jake McCombe take inspiration from mathematical shapes and scientific symbols to create bold abstract wearable sculptures. His work has been stocked with some of London’s finest jewellery outlets.
