In Memory of Sir Kenneth Grange

At the RCA, Sir Kenneth had been a Visiting Professor to Design Products since 2005 regularly contributing to teaching and assessment. He was a Member of Court and received an Honorary Doctorate in 1985.

“Kenneth’s role as a mentor and teacher at the Royal College of Art was warmly welcomed where he inspired and nurtured countless aspiring designers. Grange's teachings, rooted in the principles of functional simplicity, ergonomic efficiency, and timeless elegance, continue to resonate with designers around the world. His legacy as a designer and educator will forever be cherished, as his passion and wisdom continue to shape the future of design. Rest in peace, Sir Kenneth Grange. Your influence and spirit will live on in the hearts and minds of all who were fortunate enough to learn from you.”
