The playful, vivid animation uses a number 1 in different typefaces to draw out five further brightly coloured 1s across the screen. Dimitri, an independent graphic designer and art director who describes himself as coming from ‘a tradition of Swiss graphic design’, said he is ‘keen to infuse my work with some playful and fun elements’.
Before coming to the RCA Dimitri studied BA Visual Communication at Zurich University of the Arts. After graduating he co-founded Priott, a small Zurich-based branding and digital agency, and worked as a senior designer for Mutabor Design in Hamburg. Dimitri’s approach to design is holistic and conceptually rooted, acknowledging that the increasingly interconnected and interdependent world we live in requires a fundamentally new way of thinking and designing.
More information about Dimitri's work can be found on his website.
