The RCA’s Community Engagement Manager, Hannah Lambert, welcomed 65 local young people from South Thames College and St John Bosco College to visit the Terra Carta Design Lab exhibition at the RCA’s Battersea campus.
The groups were hosted by the RCA School of Design's Nick de Leon (Executive Education and Knowledge Exchange Lead), who encouraged the students to think about how they too could become a force for change and took them through a fun and quick design challenge. They then had a chance to look around the exhibition and chat to some of the RCA project leads.
Speaking of the event, Hannah Lambert said: “Huge thanks to the RCA’s Nick de Leon, as well as the RCA Terra Carta finalists, it was fantastic to witness the local students’ inspiration and ideas around design, the climate crisis and the world we live in today.”
The exhibition opened its doors to the public and local community between 20 and 21 September.
