The RCA has signed the Can’t Buy My Silence pledge in which it commits to not using Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) for complaints about sexual harassment, bullying and other forms of misconduct.
Non-disclosure agreements are legal contracts that prevent the person who signed it from publicly discussing confidential information about the complaint, the process and/or the outcome and any arrangement or settlement involved.
This public pledge to not using NDAs for complaints about sexual harassment, bullying and other forms of misconduct is in line with the College’s commitment to create an inclusive, supportive and safe environment to work and study.
The RCA community operates in line with our four agreed values: Curiosity, Inclusion, Collaboration and Integrity. Throughout the College we are working hard to improve our provisions, including our work towards becoming an anti-racist institution and the introduction of our reporting system, Report+Support. Through this system staff and students can report harassment, discrimination, bullying or violence either with contact details, anonymously or to support someone else who has experienced misconduct.
