Textiles Campus Tour: Transcript

Hi. Welcome to Level 5, Kensington. This is our technical service space for Textiles. Here is our Weaving Area and then, to the right, is where we have our Winding Space for yarn.

Here we have a Jaquard machine for weaving fabrics.

This is our Knit Area where we have Domestic and Dubied knitting machines, all ranging from different gauges.

Here is our Mixed Media space where we have Domestic sewing machines and also other specialty sewing machines. And here we have our digital embroidery machines. Here we have our Print Space where we do Screen printing and also Digital printing.

Here is our Dye Lab and Process Room. Here is our Dye Lab, where we have lots of different colours to choose from. Now we're going to our Exposure bay and where we can also wash out screens. Last but not least, are our two Digital Knit printing machines called Shimas. We hope you enjoyed the tour and we hope to see you soon.
